CLTA’s 2021 First Virtual Conference

A Mosaic of Multicultural Perspectives

A Huge Success

CLTA wants to thank all of you who attended the 2021 Virtual Conference.  We want to remind you that all of the sessions & TOY Talks will be accessible until July 31.  If your login & password are not working, please email registrar@clta.net.

On Sunday, there were two sessions that could not be seen due to technical difficulties. Both sessions are online on the Conference Platform.

  • Being Relevant presented by Clarissa Adams Fletcher, the 2011 ACTFL National Teacher of the Year
  • Beyond food and music: studying culture below the surface in a Distance Learning Environment presented by Carmen de Jesús from Savvas Learning

We will soon be sending out a survey so that you can give us input on ways to improve our virtual events.  We look forward to hearing your suggestions and thoughts.

CLTA Conference Returns to Sacramento in 2022

In what is likely to be one of the first in-person professional learning events in a very long time, the CLTA Conference in 2022 will be in Sacramento at the DoubleTree Hotel. As the local hosts for the conference, FLAGS is thrilled to welcome all of CLTA back to in-person professional learning and we hope you, our awesome FLAGS members, will consider signing up to serve on one of our conference committees. We promise the work is both meaningful and reasonable in terms of time commitment. Stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, we are pleased to unveil our conference logo as well as the short promotional video
