With undergraduate majors in French and African-American Studies, a Master’s in Literacy, and training in Positive Education, Ben has worked with students and educators from around the world to develop curriculum and pedagogy that serve as both windows and mirrors. –

What: Full-day Workshop on Best Practices for World Languages Instruction

First Session (8:30am – 11:30am): Using Authentic Resources to Teach Grammar as a Concept in Context

Second Session (12:30pm – 3:30pm): Designing Real World Performance Tasks


  • Members $60 for the full day or $40 for one session (2023-24 membership in BOTH (CLTA & FLASCC) is required for member price)
  • Non-members $100 full day, $75 one session
