CONFERENCES

The CLTA Annual Conference and the CLTA/CWLP Annual Summer Seminar are two of the premiere professional development opportunities every year for world language professionals in California and beyond. Expert and seasoned presenters, peer presentations, pre-Conference workshops, exhibitors , vendors, awards and grants, and more provide rich opportunities for world language educators.  In addition, CLTA and affiliates host regular symposia in the north and south areas, as well as affiliate programs throughout the year.

ADVOCACY

We believe students are supported and encouraged by outstanding effective programs and teachers who are well-prepared with necessary knowledge and skills to deliver up-to-date lessons in their classrooms. CLTA brings awareness to legislators and the public about major language and culture issues that support the effective WL California classroom.
