CLTA World Language Jamborees are back!

Six Jamborees have set their dates!!

We have dates for some of these events.  We will send out more information as it comes available.  If you haven’t been to a Jamboree, it is usually a mini-conference that includes a variety of sessions and presenters with a small continental breakfast and lunch. SoCal (IEFLA, FLAOC, MCLASC)—Sep. 21 – Esperanza HS, Anaheim

  • Registration is now open at
    • The registration fee is $85 for regular teachers, $75 for retirees and $35 for students who send proof with their registration to Paula Hirsch.

Humboldt Area North Coast (NCLTA) – 10/5/19 

  • Nicole Naditz will present a 3-hour workshop on the NEW Standards
  • The workshop will be held at Humboldt State University
  • Registration will open soon.

Sacramento (FLAGS, FLANS)—Oct. 12

Chico Area north of Sacramento (FLASH) at CSU, Chico – 10/18/19

  • Joshua Cabral from Massachusetts is scheduled to present.  He is a dynamic world language teacher who has 22 years of experience teaching French and Spanish in grades K through 12.
  • The workshop will take place on campus at CSU, Chico.  Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Ventura/Santa Barbara (SB-VAWLT)—Oct. 26

San Diego (FLCSD + other groups in area) – 12/7/19, 8 am-3:30 pm
