1. Ask students to list the information which they expect to find on a calendar of events and to share their lists.
2. Ask students to brainstorm how to access information that is not immediately evident on the home page of the site.
3. Distribute worksheet and have students read the questions they are to answer.
4. Have students go to the site on the worksheet.
5. Have students brainstorm what information they might find on the links attached to the home page. Remind students to look for cognates and for meaning in the context.
6. Have students complete the worksheet.
7. Have the class discuss the worksheet, particularly the last two questions.
Evaluation:
Completion of the assignment, accuracy of the language in answers 11 and 12.
