Free Leadership Training at the 2016 CLTA Conference

CLTA is looking for members who are interested in developing their leadership capacity and teaching practice and who are committed to furthering the mission of the California Language Teachers’ Association. To that end, the California Leadership Initiative (CALI) is being launched at the 2016 CLTA Conference in Visalia. This intensive leadership institute will take place over a three day period (Thursday, March 17 – Saturday, March 19) during the conference.

CALI will follow the LILL model (http://languageleadership.org/) and is designed to empower educators to become agents for change throughout California’s language classrooms and programs. This institute will foster a growth mindset focused on research-based teaching and purposeful nurturing of leadership skills.

Applicants should have demonstrated leadership ability, shown potential for growth and impact, and demonstrated a long-term commitment to the California Language Teachers’ Association. To apply, please complete the digital application by following this link (or forward this to a colleague who may be interested): https://goo.gl/jFG9N4.
